SWHN activities
Since its establishment, the network already participated in the
following:
• 8th Geneva pace talk for Syria December 2017 and is expected to
participate in the upcoming rounds.
• An active member in PSEA network in Northern Syria
• Participating in several Syrian local Civil Society activities in
Gaziantep.

SWHN Projects First half of 2018
1. Capacity Building Programme: include six thematic training to network founding members
and women working in Humanitarian sector based on needs identified and prioritize by
participants in the programme . Five is be conducted in Gaziantep and one planned in
northern Syrian (May 2018)
Training include:
• Communication skills; (concluded)
• Leadership and Governance (concluded )
• Negotiation skills (planned)
• Introduction to women’s issues in the context of international and humanitarian law (planned)
• Women related project development and funding mechanism (planned)
• As for the training inside Syrian: One training to be conduct inside Syria as planned but with
extend time (5 -7 days), the training will be intensive, based on the curriculum given in Turkey.
